Using the children's area in class

    1. Show the children's area on the board and tap the age of your class. Nothing is saved.
    2. Play a game together, or open a topic and use its "Talk about it" questions for a class discussion.
    3. Pupils can carry on at home on the same page, or in the app, with no account needed.

    Less work, not more

    What a week looks like

Full-time teachers already work about 50 hours a week (Department for Education, 2025). We built this to take work off that list, not add to it.

    1. Monday

The online safety alert arrives with three tabs: for you, for parents and for pupils. Copy the parent note straight into your newsletter.

    2. Any day

Each member of staff does one 10 to 15 minute step, when it suits them.

    3. Your Designated Safeguarding Lead

Under an hour a week to see progress and pick the next fix.

    4. All the time

Every step is dated and logged. Your evidence report is ready for inspection in one click.

    Why it sticks

Once a year, or a little every week?

Most schools rely on one training session a year. Here's how a little every week compares.

    How we compare

    Compared with other school training

The other providers we checked train staff only, and most charge per person. CyberSafe Coach reaches staff, pupils and parents, covers online safety and cyber security together, and has one price for the whole school.

    Built with schools

What Lancashire schools have told us

We asked school staff what would help. Here's what they said, and what we built.

    • “Staff training but ensuring it is fresh in the minds of staff and not just an annual refresher that is quickly forgotten.”

      A Lancashire school

We built: One small step a week for every member of staff.

    • “a straightforward way of keeping staff, pupils and parents up to date with the latest online risks”

      A Lancashire school

We built: The Monday alert, with a tab each for staff, parents and pupils.

Two more things schools asked for
    • “Having something that reduced the amount of time spent managing incidents and documenting everything would make a significant difference.”

      A Lancashire school

We built: A dated record that builds itself, and an evidence report in one click.

    • “The emergence of AI and deep fakes - how pictures and information can be used to create very realistic fakes.”

      A Lancashire school

We built: AI fakes in the staff training, and the “Real, Edited or AI?” game for pupils.

“So far, I have found it easy to use, but still finding my feet!”

    The detail

Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

KCSIE 2026 asks schools in England to give all staff safeguarding and child protection training that includes online safety, refreshed regularly, with updates at least once a year. CyberSafe Coach keeps that going every week and records each step, so your safeguarding lead can show it when inspectors ask.

The Department for Education (DfE) digital and technology standards

Schools in England are working towards six core standards by 2030. Cyber security, filtering and monitoring, and digital leadership and governance are assessed here, with the three network standards signposted to your IT provider. The standards don't apply in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Schools in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland

Education is devolved. Schools in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland pick their nation at sign-up and see their own government's guidance and inspectorate (Estyn, HM Inspectorate of Education, the Education and Training Inspectorate) rather than England's. The staff training, weekly steps and dated record are the same everywhere.

    What's in the evidence report

Where your school stands at a glance and by area, where to focus next, what the staff team has done, each person's record, what pupils have been taught, and a dated evidence log. See a sample.

Does this replace the NCSC training?

No. The NCSC's free training is a good once-a-year session, and schools with RPA cover take it each year. CyberSafe Coach keeps the learning going every week in between.
